My first podcast! Sarah’s Bookshelves Live: Episode 33

I had the pleasure of being a mini-episode guest on the podcast, Sarah’s Bookshelves Live in October. My first podcast! I was so excited to be chosen by Sarah to talk about books. However, I was also SUPER nervous about the whole thing. Would I sound stupid? Possibly. Would I say “um” or “like” too many times? Probably. Who likes the sound of their own voice? Nobody. But I couldn’t worry about all of that. I grabbed my son’s fancy gaming headphones and my laptop and went to sit in my closet where I knew it would be quiet.

Sarah was a lovely host and even though the mini-episodes are only 20 minutes long, we chatted for close to an hour. (Don’t worry, the published episode was edited down to 20 minutes.) We talked about two old books I love, two new books I love, one book I did not love, and one upcoming release that I am excited about. You can listen to the episode by visiting Sarah’s website, Sarah’s Bookshelves, or by finding it wherever you listen to podcasts.

Here’s a little bit about the books I talked about on the episode:

Two “Old” Books I Love

American Housewife by Helen Ellis
Rush by Lisa Patton

Two “New” Books I Love

Very Nice by Marcy Dermansky
We Love Anderson Cooper by R.L. Maizes

One Book I Did Not Love

The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn

One Upcoming Release I’m Excited About

American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins

Want to know why I love, hate, and am excited about these books? You have to listen!
